Q. Is it possible to transfer apartments either within my complex or to the other complex?
A. Yes, just come to the office to start the process.
Q. What do I do in case of an emergency?
A. If the emergency is a life & death situation, call 9-1-1. For emergencies such as an uncontrollable water leak, refrigerator not working, heat not working when outside temperature is below 60, electrical problems other than a community power outage, or the smell or sight of smoke, call our emergency line at 910-347-7035. This line is monitored by an answering machine and you must leave a message to get a response.
Q. Are there any utilities included with the rent?
A. Yes. Water, trash and sewer are included in the rent. Now basic cable is also included.
Q. Do you allow pets?
A. Yes, however, check with the office, your lease or guidebook - there are restrictions. There is also a non-refundable fee.
Q. How do I get electrical service?
A. Electrical service is with Jones-Onslow EMC. If you are a member of Navy Federal Credit Union, you can apply for the Energizer Program, which will save your having to pay the deposit with Jones-Onslow. They are located on Western Boulevard next to Fuddruckers and across from Blockbusters. Their telephone number is 910-353-1940. Electricity is not included with the rent.
Q. How can I pay my rent?
A. Rent can be paid at the office during business hours in the form of cash, money order, or check. You may also mail payment in.
Q. I just got orders, what do I do?
A. Bring a copy of your orders to the office and immediately fill out the Intent to Vacate form we will provide you at the office.
Q. Is the cable really free?
A. Yes, all 60+ basic channels from Time Warner.
Q. How do I get something fixed in my apartment?
A. Just stop by the office, inform us of the problem and sign a work order. OR submit the problem online using our maintenance form.
Q. I have a visitor, do I need to report it to the office?
A. Yes, otherwise, we may misunderstand the situation.
